It's not always that someone asks you to write a poem of him/her, as in not specifically but for someone dear of his/her. It's even more rare when the occasion so arises that it's for someone even more special…say Daddy !! However there is this friend of mine, who trusted me with this job, on her Father's Birthday… A small token, which I tried… Not that I might have passed with flying colours but passed alright… Here it goes…. LESSONS OF A LIFE TIME, LEARNT BELOW THWE SHADE. A SUPPORT TO FALL BACK ONTO ON ANY PATH I TREAD…. YOUR LITTLE SAUGHTER HAS GROWN UP NOW, BIG ENOUGH TO SAY "NO" ! OLD ENOUGH TO GUIDE YOU, IN ANY PATH YOU GO… IN TIMES OF STORM YOU LOVED ME….. HELPED ME ON MY WAY. DAD THAT YOU ARE SPECIAL WHATS LEFT IN THAT TO SAY?? YOU HUGGED ME TIGHT AND RAISED ME HIGH------ FOR ALL THE WORLD TO SEE, HOW PRETTY WAS YOUR LITTLE DAUGHTER______ HOW PROUD YOU WERE TO BE!!! THINGS HAVE CHANGED AND LIFE MOVED ON, THE YEARS HAVE HENCE PASSED BY ! F
