Music is the melody of life.

Music is the melody of life, the rhythm of living, the passion of going on. The worshippers of music, the preachers of music, the Divine Goddess of music are not only respected throughout the world but also are one the most beloved personalities in the world. The break dance of Michael Jackson to the folk songs of Denver, from the rhythm of Norah Jones to the melody of Beatles make them one of those great artists who walk, talk and speak music. The rap of Eminem to the heart throbbing music of Britney Spears, the fast tunes of Elvis Priestley to the absolutely fascinating Celine Dion are all the best students of Music of the west. Talking of eastern music one cannot forget the haunting melodies of Kishore ,the sensational tunes of Lata and the lovely rhythm of Md.Rafi and the rising stars like Abhijeet, Sonu Nigam and the great musical genius the scintillating Rehman. The upcoming bands like Aasman and Strings to the "Sayeeoni" of Junoon ,"Rock the party" of bombay rockers to the "Lamhe " of Jaal are the modern tunes that keeps ringing in our ears once we have heard them....The enigmatic beats of Fossils to the sheer simplicity of Bhumi, the exotic miles to the lyrics of Chandrabindoo have all rocked our hearts each and every time we have heard them and not only have they rocked but have also made us fall in love with them. Each has its own idiosyncrasy and its individualistic beats but nowadays as the world is developing its software and music devices the rate at which the music is being pirated and re mixed is a serious issue that has to be looked into within a moments notice. The remixing of songs is almost synonymous to murdering it. A few shouts from the background , a few shrieks and loads of rubbish added to a nice and smooth song makes it a so called fascinating disco mix. How can these goons who remix these evergreen melodies and almost drive out the melodious soul of the music and then replace it with a noisy and rash one? Music is something we should enjoy listening to it is something we should worship it is not a public property that anybody under the sky can add a few roars ,a couple of brays and many tweets to change a folk song into a jungle mix. This is not done and seriously such deeds should be tolerated .If at all remixes has to be done. then the song needs to be transcreated like A R Rehman did to "Vander Mataram",this would instill a new spirit to the song and listening would be more pleasurable rather than pain. The best of artists are now sad that their best creations are now being spoiled by these highly non musical DJ's.Imagine how this world would be like without music, imagine how all the rhythm would fly away from our lives ,imagine a noisy world without peaceful music ,imagine a sad day without an inspirational music .We can't even think of an world without the tune it is beyond our imagination but this nightmare will come true if this remixing business and piracy doesn't stop. One day it will come when all the singers of this world will unite and stop singing ,no new melodies will come ,there will be mass music strike and men will then cry at their faults. Thus the only way is to stop these crimes and take special care that all of us listen to the original tunes rather than the remixed ones other wise the day is not near when the once enigmatic fossils will seek "NEMESIS" and "NISHKROMON" and that day all the musicians will come under this the same roof to sing "NISSHO" for the last time the very last time for from that day the all the melodies will become "NISSHO" and the "HEART WILL NOT GO ON anymore so be BEWARE...................................................

A Different Feel by Osibek Pal on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 2:50pm  To, Manimanjari Sengupta THIS IS NOT A TRANSLATION OR AN INTERPRETATION OF THE SONG, ITS THE ENGLISH VERSION , OF " BECHE THAKAR GAAN" ORIGINAL VERSION BY ANUPAM ROY, WRITTEN IN THE SAME THEME, HOWEVER THERE ARE SOME OBVIOUS DIFFERENCES IN THOUGHT, FOR THE SAKE OF RHYME SCHEME, LET ME KNOW HOW YOU LIKE THIS VERSION...   Force me to forget a paintbrush..  And learn just light and dark..   Remember ,I wont comply...  Wont Pragmatise life, if you ask...     Banish me from your life's tell tale...  I wouldn't complain.... But ask me to justify my love...   I wouldn't , not if I am slain..     Cause, I have seen it all, known it all...  Quick sand, is not just for the beaches...  It has drained life, breath, blood and love,  let alone petty riches..     Cause, I have seen it all, known it all, ti...

A Blessing In Disguise

Across the streets he was pacing away…dodging all those passer bys…Peopl e watching in amazement...What’s come over this boy today …The tiny limbs covered very sm all distances..yet he was running…panting , sweating profusely…but he was happy today , very happy….The chemists shop was still a couple of crossings away…But he seeme d possessed… The rugged clothes waving in the fury o f his flight… The hawkers were calling him…”Where are you going “? But he seemed too much in haste to bother….’Dua’, A Ble ssing was too happy today…. The fourteen year old had got his first s alary…One thousand rupees…He had enough to buy the bottle of medicine for his ailin g mother…. What an irony in the name itself…May be all the little he had…the only thing m issing was a Blessing itself…. “Ma, Moi tonic aichi !” She turned from the bed, weak and looked at her little..he was all she had…She had lost everything from her husband to her house , wealth everything had been snatched from her...

Just forget It!

Yippee! I have seemingly discovered one more truth about life..You might just say...hey this boy is crazy..how come he realises something everyday...But its not that..it just a self realisation that i quite excited about... I have been officially warned a large number of times to control my over exuberant side..remember writing 5oo lines on an occasion in school for being over enthusiastic...but ever since I have learnt to do it in a wiser way..or So as i call it... Now coming back to the point...As I said i have realised something.... Now i need to give a situation.... Its about a someone...who notices nothing in a mirror but himself...Of couse one would say..what else do you see in a mirror...But i have realised that there are many things that one can actually see, in the mirror... Its no more of "Mirror mirror on The Wall...Who is most Beautiful of them all" but its more of the transition that man or woman has over age.... How different a man or woman can become with every...
