Closer To Nature…

Thats ME Again...In The Terracota Temple Of Hankseshwari....
The Obscure Tree...
Bananas ....Live In A Tree.
The Temple ...
The Peeping Sun...

Well city lovers like me do not generally love the rural way of life. And it took a lot of persuasion of my moms part to finally get me going to Kuntighat..And hours journey from bandel…Ya its really nice place I must admit though its quite secluded…A little wooden platform set in the middle of a large field and we had reached the place..It looked technically so backward , with seemingly no connection to the modern world…however I must admit it had all the things that Kolkata has and had even more which no city has…Ya Ya you guessed right , I was speaking about greenery, and a sweet smell of wet clay..Along the Ganges the little tinsel town was an awesome place .

Yet more was the phenomenon that took place….First of all the longest bike ride of my career …A ride of more than 80 km, up and down to the Terracotta temple Of Hanksheshwari …The temple was really old and place was really mesmerizing..Its was an experience of the life time..Then a visit to as factory yard of "Keshoram Rayons" And its Effluent Treatment Plant .Through the foul smelling factory I saw the entire process of treatment..It was to near to nature..With acres of mango trees and even more banana trees…lemons, Gulmohors, Litchis, And much more…..The photos are in the process of being uploaded so wait its gonna come soon…

I simply loved the place and long to go there once again…One of my favourite trips for a day or two…What an way to spend a couple of post exam days…good food, great weather , Ganges breeze , fresh fruits ________Why Want Anything Else..????

A Different Feel by Osibek Pal on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 2:50pm  To, Manimanjari Sengupta THIS IS NOT A TRANSLATION OR AN INTERPRETATION OF THE SONG, ITS THE ENGLISH VERSION , OF " BECHE THAKAR GAAN" ORIGINAL VERSION BY ANUPAM ROY, WRITTEN IN THE SAME THEME, HOWEVER THERE ARE SOME OBVIOUS DIFFERENCES IN THOUGHT, FOR THE SAKE OF RHYME SCHEME, LET ME KNOW HOW YOU LIKE THIS VERSION...   Force me to forget a paintbrush..  And learn just light and dark..   Remember ,I wont comply...  Wont Pragmatise life, if you ask...     Banish me from your life's tell tale...  I wouldn't complain.... But ask me to justify my love...   I wouldn't , not if I am slain..     Cause, I have seen it all, known it all...  Quick sand, is not just for the beaches...  It has drained life, breath, blood and love,  let alone petty riches..     Cause, I have seen it all, known it all, ti...

Its All Coming Back To Me

They say that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Now some purist might just pounce upon me and question why or how dare i refer " Sir Isaac Newton" as a relative pronoun. But the point is, its not physics that I am talking about . Rather the matter that intrigues me is the fact that how come life gives a chance to everyone to get even. Yes call it destiny, or misfortune for some, but the gains made by one is always at someone else's expense. Success is fleeting. Status is even more vague. For these never lasts just as long as you would like them to be. Its a easier up-shift rather than climbing down the stairs in society , but when you are sometimes pushed up, its inevitable that you would surely be grounded sooner or later. The facts that have inspired me, ranges far in the plains of Africa. I saw a Pride Of Lions on discovery. A Pride of Three lionesses , A Lion and their bunch of six month old cubs. The fact that these scenes were not fleeting as any...
