Exams

Damn you! This is another word which even Google has refused to use as an adword anymore....100% of students have boycotted clicking on it. But what to do each of us have to give these things and you knw to be precise I personally think this the worst thing mankind has devices........In the 15th century there were schools who started testing students on their knowledge database but the matter is no longer knowledge its just heap of syllabus that also of all sorts of crap.....
The tests now a days ask you about how much rainfall the rice needs and how much manure is required by Jute for God's sake if we are studying to become farmers then its better we our parents spend much less in appointing our "academic gladiators".Seriously man imagine things they are now into ..............History after all why do we need to know things of the past .when people talk about space-travel we are look back into the past.Even mathematics has deproved ,now they have ways to tell us how to manage our bank accounts well then why don't we start calculating the no.of seconds in an year and get 6 marks for it!the only good part of it all is Geometry. Then look at Bengali .The lesser the said the better people think we have got to learn from a list of 100 (bakdharas).are we supposed to mug up proverbs well then people will start asking mug up what we are gonna a speak about to your frends each day ...you know it would be very useful.............jerk!But remember might just get interesting .Imagine the greatest news of 2007.............Ash Marries Abhishek after liason with Vivek And Sallu Bhai

Beche Thakar Gaan

A Different Feel by Osibek Pal on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 2:50pm  To, Manimanjari Sengupta THIS IS NOT A TRANSLATION OR AN INTERPRETATION OF THE SONG, ITS THE ENGLISH VERSION , OF " BECHE THAKAR GAAN" ORIGINAL VERSION BY ANUPAM ROY, WRITTEN IN THE SAME THEME, HOWEVER THERE ARE SOME OBVIOUS DIFFERENCES IN THOUGHT, FOR THE SAKE OF RHYME SCHEME, LET ME KNOW HOW YOU LIKE THIS VERSION...   Force me to forget a paintbrush..  And learn just light and dark..   Remember ,I wont comply...  Wont Pragmatise life, if you ask...     Banish me from your life's tell tale...  I wouldn't complain.... But ask me to justify my love...   I wouldn't , not if I am slain..     Cause, I have seen it all, known it all...  Quick sand, is not just for the beaches...  It has drained life, breath, blood and love,  let alone petty riches..     Cause, I have seen it all, known it all, ti...

Just forget It!

Yippee! I have seemingly discovered one more truth about life..You might just say...hey this boy is crazy..how come he realises something everyday...But its not that..it just a self realisation that i quite excited about... I have been officially warned a large number of times to control my over exuberant side..remember writing 5oo lines on an occasion in school for being over enthusiastic...but ever since I have learnt to do it in a wiser way..or So as i call it... Now coming back to the point...As I said i have realised something.... Now i need to give a situation.... Its about a someone...who notices nothing in a mirror but himself...Of couse one would say..what else do you see in a mirror...But i have realised that there are many things that one can actually see, in the mirror... Its no more of "Mirror mirror on The Wall...Who is most Beautiful of them all" but its more of the transition that man or woman has over age.... How different a man or woman can become with every...

Untiled

It all started in Presidency College. The first kiss,  the first bout of anger,  the first getting wet in the rain. Shreya and Srijan loved what they had. They loved being in love,  cuddly, cosy and always into each other.  They were the sort,  who were outcasted from society due to their "coupletiness" . They existed in a world segregated from friends,  family. They were mesmerised by each other,  in a sense they started living in a virtual world that they created, until one day when Srijan went abroad. He realised the potential of being alone,  of creating for himself,  for the joy which he didn't know could come from sheer self indulgence. He realised the matters if the heart blunts the brain, cripples it,  makes it focus on things which need lesser attention. He realised that the relationship though beautiful was a hindrance. He realised that the world is a vast place and "perfect" can't lie within one.... Years went by and t...
